How Do Additional Drivers Work?
Roam allows you to add an additional driver to your vehicle subscription for an extra cost. Additional drivers must meet Roam's approval criteria before being added to your plan, including a minimum age of 23 and a clean driving record.
How Much Is an Additional Driver?
The fee for an additional driver depends on the plan you choose. Some Protection Plans include a complementary additional driver at no extra cost; on other plans there's an additional fee. How Do I Add an Additional Driver?
Add an additional driver from your Roam account under Service Requests. You'll upload the driver's licence and provide some basic information about them. Once Roam reviews and approves the request, the additional driver will be added to your plan and covered under your subscription.
Requirements
Additional drivers must meet the same approval criteria as primary drivers, including:
- Minimum age of 23
- No major driving violations, suspensions, or infractions within the last 3 years
- No major criminal convictions or moving violations within the last 3 years
- A valid driver's licence
