Why we built Roam
When we started Roam in 2020, getting a car in Canada came down to a few choices. You could rent by the day, but daily rentals were never designed for long-term driving, and the cost adds up fast once you go beyond a few days. Or you could lease or buy, signing a long-term contract or committing to owning a vehicle that doesn't fit every situation. A new job, a move to a new city, a car in the shop, a project that runs for six months. There was nothing in between.
So we built it. Month-to-month plans designed for long-term needs. Drive as long as you like, and cancel anytime after your minimum term. Maintenance and on-road support come with your vehicle, and Roam provides insurance options so you can choose the coverage that's right for you, and get on the road fast.
Today we serve drivers and companies across Ontario from our Greater Toronto Area and Ottawa locations. Growth like this tells us Canadians were looking for alternative ways to get a car, and Roam is clearly addressing a big need. We look forward to bringing Roam to Canadians in every province and territory in the future.
